Spicy Seeds
Not really a canapé, but a delicious little nibble and much healthier than crisps! These spicy seeds are also good sprinkled sparingly over a bowl of warming soup or on to a salad. They take only a few minutes to prepare and cook and keep for ages, so perfect for when you just need something to keep you going until supper time.

Ingredients
100g pumpkin seeds
30g sunflower seeds
1/2 tbs olive oil
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/4 tsp hot smoked paprika
1/2 tsp caste sugar
1/2 tsp salt
Method
Heat the oven to 180ºc.
Mix everything together (add your own combination of spices if you prefer) and sprinkle the seeds onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Spread them out as much as possible and bake for 10-15 minutes.
Remove from the oven and cool. Store in an airtight container.
